EnBW Kernkraft, Kernkraftwerk Philippsburg GmbH commissioned Dornier Hinneburg GmbH to review and evaluate the existing documentation on the waste, which comprises approximately 2,150 drums of filter concentrates, compressed mixed waste and sludge, and to use this as a basis for developing a concept for documentation suitable for final disposal with regard to radiology, material characterisation and compliance with the basic requirements and the requirements for waste product groups in repository containers.
Our services at a glance:
- Data review and evaluation of waste products (drums and waste) (campaign registration, measurement and analysis protocols, container documentation, TÜV inspection reports).
- Checking documents and data for completeness and plausibility. Creation of a delta list (target/actual comparison for compliance with the Konrad final disposal conditions as of 2014) and development of a concept for radiological declaration.
- Creation of the radiological declaration and development of a concept for the material declaration of the drums and waste. Incorporation of the material declaration into the waste product documentation in accordance with the results of the developed concept after consultation with the client.
- Checking the basic packagability of the waste in repository containers approved for the Konrad repository facility and preparation of the waste product documentation and data sheets in the repository procedure using the AVK*-MOPRO program system.
- Support in obtaining the verification statement in the disposal procedure in the form of an appointment with the authority and its experts to present the concept and the waste documentation.
