Project Engineer (m/f/d) Nuclear Documentation
The impact you can make with us:
You will create and coordinate documentation for radioactive waste from dismantling and decontamination (D&D) that is intended for interim storage or final disposal in accordance with the requirements of nuclear regulations.
You will be responsible for documenting the origin, treatment, packaging and radiological properties of the waste in specific data formats.
You will ensure that all documents are prepared in a manner that allows them to be reviewed and approved, including all necessary traceability and proof of conformity.
Together with internal departments and external partners, you will coordinate content and prepare documents for storage permits or clearance.
You will regularly check and maintain the underlying waste databases, radiation protection records and packaging information to ensure complete traceability.
In the event of changes to legal requirements or as part of internal audits, you will play an active role and adapt existing documentation processes.
Your profile:
You have a degree in power engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or a comparable field.
You have experience in the area of repository documentation for existing radioactive waste.
You are confident in applying legal frameworks such as the AtG, StrlSchG, StrlSchV, final disposal conditions and regulatory requirements of the BGE.
You are known for your strong analytical skills, a high degree of initiative and your independent and structured way of working.
You are very familiar with common IT programs (MS Office).
You are flexible and willing to travel.
Ideally, you have a valid driving licence.
Very good German language skills (at least C1 level) round off your profile; good English and French skills are an advantage.
