Industrial Technician (m/f/d) in the field of Radiation Protection

The impact you can make with us:

  • You coordinate and supervise the various trades involved in the dismantling and decontamination (D&D) of nuclear facilities.
  • You ensure strict compliance with radiation protection measures at all times.
  • You document the tracking of both radioactive and non-radioactive materials and waste.
  • You are also responsible for monitoring relevant documentation to guarantee the safe and transparent execution of D&D activities.
  • You ensure the traceability of all documentation.
  • You record, update, review, and manage data such as deadlines, plant data, and clearance measurement data in the client’s system.
  • You plan and oversee the D&D processes and ensure adherence to schedules.

Your profile:

  • You hold a qualification as a certified technician or master craftsman in energy technology, electrical and control technology, as a master industrial technician in metalworking, radiation protection foreman, VGB radiation protection technician, or a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the D&D of nuclear power plants.
  • Knowledge of the German Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV) is an advantage.
  • You have an unrestricted reliability clearance in accordance with Section12b.
  • You have a confident manner when dealing with external partners and customers.
  • You hold a valid driving licence.
  • Fluent German skills (at least C1 level) complete your profile.
