Johannes Schubert is our expert for nuclear dismantling projects and factory planning for residue management. As head of the department for dismantling planning and residue management, he and his team are entrusted with the tasks of dismantling planning for nuclear facilities and the planning and design of individual facilities for residue treatment through to residue management centres across all project phases – from requirements assessment through to start-up. Before developing his department, he was responsible for the preparation of repository documentation and packaging planning and is thus familiar with all processes of holistic waste management planning. As a welding engineer, he supervised new-build projects for conventional plants.
In addition to his extensive expert knowledge, our customers value his pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to tasks of any kind, as well as his practical and goal-oriented implementation, including personal on-site involvement. As a private pilot, he combines his hobby with his profession and is able to be on site with his project team particularly quickly when appointments come up at short notice.
Johannes Schubert studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, majoring in nuclear engineering and production engineering. Would you like to learn more about him? Watch our short video:
